I graduated from the Salon Professionals Academy in 2005, and have been doing hair ever since! I have spent a lot of time focused on extended training, and pride my self in staying up to date with hair trends and technology.
20 years later, meeting new people, and making them feel good about themselves and their hair, is still the ultimate reward.
My passion for cosmetology began when I was a little girl. My mom worked at a spa, and I loved to visit and see the girls creating beautiful works of art. So much so, in fact, that I decided to give it a shot and came up with my very own version of a haircut at the age of five...on myself. At that point, i think everyone knew I would end up in the beauty industry.
I attended the Minnesota School of Cosmetology in 2014 and immediately knew I made the right decision. I was encouraged to be creative and passionate on a daily basis, and that pushed me to see just how far i could go.
The instructors as MSC called us "day makers". They said we had the ability to take someones bad day and turn it around by making them feel beautiful and confident. For that reason alone, I am extremely proud to be a part of the cosmetology industry. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
